October 29 - December 19th, 2010
143rd American Watercolor Society
Traveling Show
The American Watercolor Society is a nonprofit membership organization that began in 1866 to promote the art of watercolor painting in America. It has grown to be the premier watercolor society in the country. The society sponsors a traveling watercolor show that exhibits in six cities across the country during its 12-month tour.
Allied Arts has been selected to host the only Pacific Northwest exhibit in the 2010-2011 schedule, October 29 through December 19, 2010. Approximately 40 paintings will be selected for the tour from the Society’s national juried show in New York.
The Gallery will be open 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday – Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. We are closed on Sunday and Monday. There is no admission charge to see the show.
